1. Live meeting basics

  1. Open the session and click Start Session (tutor/admin).
  2. Allow camera and microphone when the browser asks.
  3. Students click Join Session once status is Live.
  4. Use the control bar to mute, stop video, share screen, or record (if enabled).
  5. Click End session when finished so recordings and AI analysis can finalize.

3. Mid-session AI quizzes

Available when AI Session Quality is enabled for your institute (Institute plan+).

Generate and launch

  1. Teach for a few minutes so live transcription has content to work with.
  2. Open the Quiz tab in the side panel.
  3. Click Generate with AI — Pathshala AI drafts MCQs from what was covered so far.
  4. Review and edit stems, options, and the correct answer. Or compose questions manually.
  5. Set the timer (default 120 seconds) and click Launch quiz.

What students see

Live results (tutor)

If you see “AI quiz needs live transcript”, keep teaching a bit longer or check that mic audio is working — quizzes need live transcription running in the background.

After the recording is ready (usually within 10–15 minutes when AI Session Quality is on):

Open recordings from the session page or Dashboard → Recordings.
